Breathtaking views await you at Periwinkle, a charming cottage by the sea. Located in a private community where you’ll enjoy a common beach/cove and a beautiful stroll out onto the point where you can enjoy the sun rises and sunsets … The cottage sits on its own little private cove where you can hunt for sea glass!
There are long sandy beaches nearby for strolling and swimming and plenty to do and see in the Portland area, just 5 miles or so from the cottage. The cottage sits steps from the beach with views of Portland Headlight, ships coming and going and crashing waves.

Periwinkle Cottage is the childhood home of Lydia's husband, Charlie. It sits right on a private beach that is filled with seaglass and treasures that Lydia uses in her art. They live just up the path in a beautiful home their son, Chris Webber built. Chris and Charlie both lobster and fish out of the little cove.

The cottage serves as a wonderful gathering place for family, a winter studio for Lydia and they have recently reopened it to guests through airbnb. Periwinkle is a wonderful retreat for anyone looking for a little inspiration, vitamin-C and plenty of authentic seaglass!
